Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Locust Control Center in Rawalpindi. He was briefed by Chief Engineer Lieutenant General Moazzam Ijaz on measures to deal with the locust critical problems. The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Army Chief appreciated the coordinated role of the Control Center in dealing with locusts situations as well as implementing safety principles. On the occasion, the Army Chief said that the Pakistan Army would use all available resources in collaboration with the civil administration to eradicate the locusts.
